It may be stating the obvious, but the very fact that all of these high-rollers are descending on the Capitol is clear evidence that they believe they have a solid shot at passing an amnesty and increased guest worker program. Or they know that this is their last shot till the next congress 2015. The Holidays are coming up and then its election year 2014 and few deals will be made in that climate.
And seeing a Senate bill with all the crap in it has wet their appetite.
I would think that many in HOUSE GOP don't want to give Obama anything now.
