SANTA ROSA, CALIF. - 3:14 p.m. Tuesday, less than 10 seconds elapsed from the time sheriff's deputies spotted a 13-year-old California boy carrying what they thought was an assault rifle and the moment they shot him dead, only to learn afterward the gun was a plastic replica. It took 16 seconds more for the two officers to call for medical assistance, according to the time line of events released by police investigating Tuesday's shooting Andy Lopez Cruz, had been on his way to a friend's house (with a toy) gun... He died at the scene... seven bullets struck the boy, and two of the wounds were fatal... eight rounds were fired by one of (the) two deputies.

Erick Gelhaus is the name of the officer who put 8 bullets into this boy.
You say that like it’s a bad thing...
It would take hubris to put it up.
I’d only put one up next to a cop using “No More Hesitation” targets.
eh? You’re using targets that look like me and mine, why can’t I use a target that looks like you?
I’m waiting for the “light to go on” in the heads of the “traditional” people and they start asking “Wait a minute ... do those targets mean you already don’t worry about hesitating when shooting us?”.
Sadly, one could die of old age in several lifetimes before any light goes on in some heads.
California.
Yesterday.
NOT a suspect, just some guy stopped at a check-point.
Wow!
Looks like I don't have to.
The only reason I think that’s fake is that the “cop” doesn’t have a shaved head.
My mistake, It was Friday, not yesterday...
FTA: “Writing under his real name on the forum The Firing Line, Gelhaus wrote under a thread entitled “He’s got a gun! ... A bb gun...” that: It’s going to come down to YOUR ability to articulate to law enforcement and very likely the Court that you were in fear of death or serious bodily injury. I think we keep coming back to this, articulation — your ability to explain why — will be quite significant.”
