Here is what we ABSOLUTELY will not hear: “We had the mic in the commo room held down throughout the when attack —the brass had literally real time ears the whole time as we were terrifiedly begging for rescue. Command kept telling us Spooky was inbound and due overhead with heavy guns in nothing flat —musta heard that a million times and she never came. Overhead we could see and even sometimes see Predator so we knew the Prez knew everything that was happening in real time. A couple times early on as we were firing we thought we heard an F-18 from Sicily, which is closer than Tripoli, but every time we were wrong. Uhhh...basically our commanders ABANDONED us totally...”
