To: C. Edmund Wright
Unlike the Democratic party who has a leader, has the president, there isn't a leader in the Republican Party right now. That's part of the problem.

Uh.. The Republicans DO have a leader right now, and his name is Ted Cruz.
I used to like Rick. I voted for him for senator three times. He used to be refreshing, a genuine conservative. But now? Whew.. No thanks, Rick.

If I had lived in PA, I would have voted for him for Senator too. However, I never fell for his schtick as a true conservative. I don’t think he ever was, except on a handful of issues.

This does not surprise me at all.....

You are right. Cruz IS the leader of the GOP grassroots, but the progressive establishment are loathe to accept the fact. I don’t make much of what Santorum said here. He is simply wrong, b/c everything Cruz said about the UCA was dead right. Bob
