In the meantime, army units have seized on Monday a number of Israeli-made missiles held by opposition armed groups to be used against the national military and the peaceful civilians.
"The seizure was made near the village of al-Tabeh in the countryside of the southwestern city of Daraa," Al-Alam TV correspondent reported.
Among the confiscated arms, there were a large amount of Israeli-made weapons and ammunition, including developed machine guns and wireless communication devices.
This was not the first time that Syrian troops have made such a seizure, where media outlets have showed previously arms with Hebrew inscriptions indicating they were originated from the Zionist entity.
...Syria was hit by a violent unrest since mid-March 2011, where the Syrian government accuses foreign actors, mainly the Saudi Arabia and Turkey, of orchestrating the conflict by supporting the militant opposition groups with arms and money.

Crypto AQ supplied with IDF weapons?
Wow this is getting COMPLICATED.
That’s funny—play the Jew card about the weapons.
“Jew” is the racist get-out-of-jail-free card of the MidEast.
DESTROY iSLAMISM!
This means that [GASP!] fellow Moose-limbs were collaborating with JOOOooozzz!
Is that believable-that the radical Al-Queda were collaborating with the JOOOooozzz?
It might help the casual reader to know al manar is Hezbullah’s media outlet.
The Muslims have proven themselves to be liars of the first order.
They're manipulating for their own purposes. I doubt there's any Israeli involvement favoring either side: it just doesn't profit Israel to get involved, it would only inflame them if they were.
From what I can tell, they're staying assiduously neutral. In fact, it would likely be better for Israel to lean toward the Known Enemy, Assad, as he kept a lid on things...of a sort.
My $0.02. YMMV. The Mideast is a messed up place.
Sauron
Hebrew blankets? C'mon, that's gotta be staged, like so many other photos we've seen come out of there.
How long would anyone survive in Syria carrying around a blue and white blanket in the Israeli national colors, like their flag, and in the traditional pattern?! About four seconds before they would be fired upon by all sides.
No, those blankets were brought out for a disinformation campaign for external consumption by the gullible in Araby, to quote Kipling.

Thanks jz638!
This is easily faked. Hezbollah probably has captured Israeli arms. The Hezbollah organization is an ally of the Assad regime, and they can use these weapons to make it look as if the opposition is in league with the Zionists.
Now, if Israel really wanted to help the insurgents (and there is little sign that they do), they could easily give them arms without Hebrew markings, and they would probably give them old stuff previously captured from other Arabs.
All we know is that the whole Arab world is in a great mess. If Obama ever had a coherent policy in the area, it is a shambles now.
I will just guess how they got the weapon’s..I think it someone should look at Obama administration ..we all know these thugs are close to Obama’s heart..
Yeah, I’m aware; I should also point out that the emphasis in the excerpt was added by me, looks like everyone got the point, which is good.
Of course it’s faked. This is yet another piece of pro-Assad agitprop, which admittedly is commonplace, even on FR.
I’m fairly certain that any country has a warehouse full of weapons from other countries that they could supply if they wanted to maintain plausible deniability. Israel, like the US, Russia, China and Iran supply weapons to just about anybody. But I’d be surprised if Israel supplied easily identified material to either side as the political repercussions are not easy to work out in advance. Now, this isn’t to say some enterprising Israeli with access hasn’t made a non-government sanctioned deal.
I didn’t see that — you’re right.
That’s plainly ridiculous.
Now I disbelieve this.
If true, Israel has made a serious mistake, arming Al Qaeda and its allies.
The Israeli state arming the Syrians seems the least likely explanation.
Israel thinks it has bigger enemies than Al-Quaeda like Hezbollah, Iran and the Assad government they back in Syria.
AIPAC, the pro-Israel lobbying group in this country, lobbied for US military action in Syria over chemical weapons and Israel’s ambassador to the US told the “Jerusalem Post” that Assad should go.
Israel’s survival from its earliest days has often involved getting its enemies fighting each other so they aren’t fighting Israel.
