Attacks on conservative politicians are becoming more and more vicious, and they’re a good measure of how effective the left perceives the person to be. The more Wolf Blitzer and Chris Matthews complain, the better the candidate. The content of their attacks is not nearly as important as the source. Their shrill, vitriolic rhetoric is a direct measure of their fear.
Remember the old adage about the amount of flak one is catching in relationship to being over the target.
