Typical right wing overreaction - there is nothing in the Constitution. Well, there is nothing in the Holy Constitution about having to drive on the right side of the road either! Drugs are and have been controlled by the Feds, get used to it. You wanted someone to protect you, didn’t ya?
Here’s something from the WSJ article a couple of days ago:
“According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, more than 16,500 people died after overdosing on opioid-based painkillers in 2010, the last year for which data are available.”
Which side of the road to drive on is regulated at the state level because it is a police function of the State. Drugs should be regulated at the state level per the Constitution.

You do realize that many of those deaths have more to do with the acetaminophen that’s used as a binder than the actual opioid itself, right?
