Cop suspended after horrific video of him 'kicking and hitting his child because she ate carrots' is released as it emerges police police chief knew and did nothing
A police officer is accused of beating his teenage daughter, force feeding her hot sauce, beating her with ropes and tying her hands with plastic zip ties and handcuffs, it emerged today. Jeremy Yachik, 35, from Loveland, Colorado, was arrested on Wednesday morning and charged with four counts of child abuse and one count of false imprisonment. His ex-fiancee Ashley Saint-Roberts sent an email to officers and news agencies accusing Yachik of child abuse and of beating her, which included an embedded video depicting a 'recording of a child being choked, punched and kicked by an adult male'. Saint-Roberts said she began going public with the video after she sent it to Yachik's boss, Chief Johnson, and he did not respond to her. However, Saint-Roberts said Yachik did call her and said: 'Nice try
trying to get me fired
it's not going to work', according to the affidavit. The tape, obtained by KDVR, shows a darkened figure of a man standing over teen who is on the floor crying. The man can be heard asking the girl: 'You had what?' She replies 'carrots', and the man appears to hit the girl before saying 'exactly', and kicking her. Yachick, his daughter, and Yachiks home living room were all positively identified in the video recording. He can be seen punching and kicking the screaming teenage girl after she ate carrots out of the fridge.

The statement I read from the dude was that everyone needs to take a moment here and look at the facts and those facts will exhonorate him basically.
“The 35-year-old admitted to investigators that he did many of these things to the girl and said it was because she would ‘not communicate’ with him.
“During a search of Yachik’s Loveland home, investigators say they found evidence of child abuse, including repaired drywall damage near a fireplace where the 15-year-old victim said Yachik slammed her head.”
You should be embarrassed that you are justifying abuse.
Particularly over a “crime” like “eating carrots”.
I have no doubt that in the end EVERYONE will lose. What is written is highly sensationalized... and you people act like a swat on the ass for disobedience is awful “abuse”. That “it takes a village” attitude, and insinuating yourselves into how a daughter is disciplined in her father’s household... that’s sort of embarrassing. I am done commenting on this “case”.
What year did you graduate from asshole school...
Having raised six children, I administrated lots of "discipline" all for very GOOD reasons, say like eating carrots / S
Never did I ever punch, kick or beat my kids...that's called abuse...
If they broke a house rule, they got a swat or two with a wooden spoon on the backside with the full knowledge of why they were being "disciplined"
I always told them after the swat they were loved more then they could understand and this happened so you will understand we have rules to live by and breaking them have consequence's just like in real life...
I certainly hope you do not have children....
Wow, that statement is not far off from "I wish you were never born". A try loving thing to say to a fellow FReeper.
Honestly, I was the good child... my kid brother got the wooden spoon more than I... and often I got it for something he did. The day came that mom broke the wooden spoon on his backside and he started laughing. The belt was employed when dad got home.
But, that's none of your business.
Oh, horse feathers...sorry I don't buy into guilt trips..
You are the one who thinks kicking and punching a girl while on the floor is perfectly OK..
Nice try though...
Objectively view the “evidence”. I know what happened here... the father was yelling at the girl and she resorted to putting on her boo hoo show. The “punching and kicking” of her as seen on the tape (which was conveniently provided by a bitter ex, well after the fact) was not “brutality”.
One thing is certain... she will probably develop as an independent young woman... and move out on her own sooner than later... just hope she doesn’t settle for a similarly roided up mate. Women tend to do that.
Ok, back to “asshole school” with me... working on my PhD, you know.
You need to get your hearing checked. When I watched and listened to the video, I didn't hear a swat or slap on the ass. I heard punches. Closed-fisted punches.
One does not punch one’s child in order to discipline him or her. That's abuse.
Hang this vermin.
