Why does the author point to all those very plausible things and non-events as being “remarkable”? Someone who just happened to be in a room close to the Oswald’s and didn’t particularly attempt to communicate with them is “remarkable”? Oswald was described as somewhat anti-social and as a loner, so why is it remarkable that he didn’t interact very much with fellow passengers? And even if he had, so what?

The guy’s website is full of interesting grist for the conspiracy mill if you read just a little Dutch. Between my meager knowledge of German (linguistically very similar to Dutch) and cut and paste into a site such as freetranslation.com, you have some fascinating stuff here.

Let me comment on the word Remarkable I used three times back in 2010.

remarkable: never before was a passenger of the 1962-trip tracked down by anyone.
THIS IS REMARKABLE. Every passanger aboard the bus to Mexico was tracked down after the assassination, but never ever any passenger from the SS Maasdam came forward, let alone give a affavidit.

remarkable: she was staying in cabin 471, the Oswalds slept in 473: they were neighbours.
LET ME REPHRASE THIS: not remarkable, but noteworthy/ extremely coincidental

remarkable: she saw Oswald a lot, didn’t talk to him. She never saw Marina and June.
REMARKABLE IN THIS WAY: there are people on the internet that suggest Oswald did not take this ship. Here is some one who finally says, out of first hand: I saw him, he WAS on that ship.
