No the quake was mild on shore...thanks to it being on the Pacific Plate.
But the situation needs to be watched for sure.

No the quake was mild on shore...thanks to it being on the Pacific Plate. Since the Philippine quake occurred between two plates, kind of isolating it, that might be the reason for the low seismic levels you saw?
