Too early yet to tell how much of the CME will hit earth, but something to be aware of. ;)

Shaking (2011) went on for almost a full 2+ minutes.. and a constant vibration for over 11 hours.. I know, I am still here :p

Looks more and more like beached oarfish equals major earthquake/tsunami to follow soon.

Good to hear, my friend.. It wouldn’t have stirred me up much either, I am so used to them.. but I happened to be awake ;)
Were the hanger swinging much? ;^)
My monitors have been on the table so long, they may as well be welded.. They shook a bit, but never budged (of course, this isn’t like the 2011 one either.. lost 2 monitors that day :/).

Well that was an hour North of Tokyo, I was sidelined from the brunt of the adventure, but could be selective memory too. :)

Just glad that all of us made it out ok.. I know of several FReepers that live here like me, and they were my first concern. Thankfully almost all checked in within about 12 hours. Also have a friend (not FReeper) That lives on a farm in Sendai with his wife and her parents (and their 3 kids).. he was just out of reach of the tsunami, thank God.

Oh, and I remember:
In less than 48 hours, no one would have known that the EQ ever happened. Japan is so full of bureaucratic 'red tape' it's surprising anything gets done... but when it comes to a situation like that, they are on it like worker ants ;^)

Plus they don’t have to worry about looters.

This link takes you to the WSA-Enlil solar wind prediction model. Earth is the green dot on the right. They’re showing at least two significant spikes over the next few days, plus one today that I heard knocked out radio communications for 15 mins today in parts of the world. The two predicted to arrive in a few days are a bit stronger than the one today.

Very good point. But, I see the society falling apart slowly here too (about 20 years behind the States)..
