A South Dakota tea party group has sponsored a television ad comparing the president's health care law to Soviet-era communism.
The Daily Republic in Mitchell reported Thursday ( http://bit.ly/1igYD6d) that the ad is sponsored by Tea Party SD, headed by Allen Unruh, of Sioux Falls.
It shows a newscaster speaking with a Russian accent who says he is a "spokesman for Obamacare." Over his right shoulder is a photo of President Barack Obama. Over his left is a photo of Russian communist revolutionary Vladimir Lenin.
"Greetings, comrades," he begins. "I have special message for those of you who are paying for your own medical care, just as you are paying for your own food, housing, your own clothing and automobile, entertainment and so on. This is no longer acceptable. You must become part of collective."
Jon Schaff, political science professor at Northern State University in Aberdeen, calls the ad so over-the-top that it's destined for the satirical political cable-TV show "The Colbert Report."
"For a lot of viewers, it would be hard to tell if this is serious or a parody," he said. "Count down until this is on `Colbert.'"
Unruh said it's a good ad.
"I think it explains what's going on with what's happened to health care today," said Unruh, a chiropractor.
The ad has been airing since at least Sunday on the Sioux Falls-based TV stations KCPO and FOX affiliate KTTW. It was not initially posted on online but did show up on YouTube as The Daily Republic conducted interviews.
Unruh said Tea Party SD is an "educational nonprofit" but said it is not a 501(c)4, the typical nonprofit federal status for groups doing political activity. He declined to specify what legal framework the group exists under.
The South Dakota Secretary of State's Office did not have a record of the group as either a political group or an "organization" under the state's business records.
Actually it reminds me of Nazi Germany calling for Jews to register.

Everything out of King Obama mouth smells communism. Been saying for years that King Obama is a communists black Muslim and plenty of support for that in what he has done to America. Check the definition of communism and tell me I am wrong.
They would be better served by speaking about Hitler’s socialized health care plan and the similarities to Obamacare.

Never use the term “single-payer” to describe national socialist “healthcare.” “Single Payer” is dystopian newspeak. In fact national socialist “health care” is not funded by a “single payer,” but by the tax-payer.
Heaven forbid that a private non-profit group should not have to beg Emperor Obama’s jackbooted commie thug IRS for permission to exist!
Obama is to healthcare what Stalin was to agriculture. To feed Russia, Stalin starved five million. To provide universal health insurance, Obama doesn’t care how many lose their coverage. It’s the logic of madmen.

The problem is that most Americans have no clue as to what it means.
The difference between democrats and communists is that communists have bothered to read the manifesto.
Obamacare is the contemporary US equivalent of confiscating the kulaks’ seed corn.
Don't be a victim. Refuse to be a serf. Boycott the entire health insurance system until the government withdraws from the system. Tear up your health insurance card. Quit paying premiums. Return your Medicare card to Washington with a note - "No thanks. I don't need your welfare."

Did anybody notice that Bill O’Reilly’s Talking Points Memo, earlier this week, came out and clearly called Obama’s policies “communist”?
