Sort of an oxymoron, not?

Spend an hour observing drivers at a Target or any supermarket and you’ll probably agree.

When I was in graduate school the couple in the next apartment were from Saudi Arabia. They were a very nice couple, she spoke not a word of English, but always had a big smile for everyone. Barely out of her teens, she stayed in the apartment while hubby attended university.

He did all the shopping, he did all the laundry at the complex laundromat, and, of course, he did all the driving.

They had a huge, late model Lincoln Continental. Often, when hubby was away or busy, she would go outside by herself to the car. She would sit in the driver's seat, put both her hands on the wheel and make believe that she was driving.

I watched her do this for a year and a half.
