Cruz and the rest should resist.
NO DELAY.
Its the law of the land.
Obama shut the government down in order to fend off a Republican delay.
Let Obama and the Law of the Land start the fines for not being able to purchase crap nobody wanted to buy anyway.
Train wreck. Big train wreck. Not “unexpected”.
Tomorrow the RINO-Dem’s start pushing amnesty I guess.
Get on the phones and learn ‘em different.
Repeal or nothing.
Let them twist in the wind.
The broken Obamacare website accomplished 100X more than the disorganized GOP did and YES I mean all of them.
It got the MSM to go into hungry shark mode beating up on Obamacare instead of GOP and the wound that is spilling the blood attracting them is the broken website.
No amount of talking in the world would have done the same.
Obama owns Obamacare.
BOOM, finally sunshine!
An 8-minute standing ovation says Cruz won.
Ted Cruz Ping!
If you want on/off this ping list, please let me know.
Please beware, this is a high-volume ping list!
NBC/MSNBCs Chuck Todd attacked Jay Carney at a press conference over Obamacare.
That blows up the talk radio paradigm
The Obamacare blood spills and the sharks are the MSM
I’m thinking of running for my congressional district I have no political experience , but it’s getting so ridiculous with the sell outs that I’m wondering if I could do something. My wife would be horrified, I likely dont have the money and I’m not active in any party- but I’m of a mind that someone has to step in. I’m a vet with 20+ years in private sector fixing problems. I feel I’m being called but I also think its a suicide mission.
If you believe you are being called, then quite possibly, you should heed that call. Don’t be afraid of it being a suicide mission - it might not be. So, you have a 50/50 chance of winning. Which half of the glass are you looking at - half-full or half-empty?
Ted Cruz is a winner. As such, he gets into a contest, not because he knows it’s a sure winner, like some silly new type of t-ball game in which there’s no score, or like our usual political fight involving clashes of Titans using politicians as pawns where the winners are decided before the contest, but because it is the right fight to have in doing his job- defending the Constitution.
People who are not used to talking about the Constitution, that is, journalists, pundits, including those calling themselves conservative, and congress people of all types, are reeling from this
That’s what getting it back is going to look like.
Whoever thought it would be easy is dreaming.
Ted Cruz’ position is the only position to take when confronted with Obamacare.
Anyone from his side who doesn’t see that Ted Cruz is a winner Will regret it.
As Obamacare gets more and more ridiculous and painful, with no logical sign of letting up, it might become clearer to many more, that the squishy Republicans were willing to let this take hold as some sort of strange punishment, rather than to try to let it be known, in good time, as an opposition party is supposed to do, regardless of the media, that this is a very bad plan in regard to American interests vis a vis the Constitution and our basic protections, including provision of general welfare.
I'd like to see 0bamaCare euthanized with extreme prejudice and the sooner the better but I don't know about the statement above. I seriously doubt that more than a token number of people are going to get hooked up and be happy with the result any time in the next five years. Disgust growing into pure loathing for years to come is what I expect to happen.
-— I feel Im being called but I also think its a suicide mission. -—
Same thing happened to me years ago. I felt called to run for school committee in a moonbat town, just to “speak truth to power.” It wasn’t enjoyable, but I did it.
Looking back, I’m proud and glad that I did. I had a few heartfelt conversations along the way that made it well worth it.
Also, expect the worst from the media, and you won’t be disappointed.
14 minute standing ovation in Tarrant County says so, too ;-)
Too early to tell.
If Democrats are unable to take the House and ideally lose control of the Senate, then we can celebrate Cruz’s victory. Because those things are most likely to happen if Obamacare stays front-and-center in the 2014 mid-term debate, and Ted Cruz and those who supported him are largely responsible for that happening.
If Cruz had not risen up against Obamacare as he did, this would all be swept under the rug as a “website problem”, but he started forcing people to open their eyes.
There was another one posted on FR today—this standing ovation was 13 minutes.
Yep, Cruz won.
Look of puzzlement on GOP-E faces :)
