I’ve read a few unofficial articles that blame “Johnny Wet-Start” for the fire.

In order to blame McCain you have to explain how he could have caused a Zuni rocket on a F-4 parked across the flight deck from him to launch and hit the airplane parked next to him. Any idea how he did it?

The Zuni missile came off an F-4 due to an electrical short that fired off the rocket motor.

McLame was in an A-4 downrange from the missile

McLame "wet-starting" his A-4 wouldn't launch a rocket considering his engine exhaust was pointing overboard

If you can somehow find McLame to blame when he was just a victim, I'd love to hear it.
