I’ve read a few unofficial articles that blame “Johnny Wet-Start” for the fire. In order to blame McCain you have to explain how he could have caused a Zuni rocket on a F-4 parked across the flight deck from him to launch and hit the airplane parked next to him. Any idea how he did it?

The Zuni missile came off an F-4 due to an electrical short that fired off the rocket motor.
McLame was in an A-4 downrange from the missile
McLame "wet-starting" his A-4 wouldn't launch a rocket considering his engine exhaust was pointing overboard
If you can somehow find McLame to blame when he was just a victim, I'd love to hear it.

Isn’t this the ship where McCain almost burned the thing down with one of his stupid moves?? You should get your facts straight before you go around slandering people. McCain did nothing wrong on that flight deck, and he came within seconds of being the first victim.
I don't care much for his political stands in recent years either, but his service in the Navy was completely honorable.
