In a speech on the House floor Wednesday, Rep. John Barrow, a Blue Dog Democrat from Georgia, called on the president to delay implementation of the law’s individual mandate, which is set to be enforced Jan. 1.
Sen. Mark Pryor, D-Ark., who like Shaheen is up for re-election in 2014, announced his support for the New Hampshire senator’s call to extend open enrollment in the exchanges and asked the administration to clarify how it would enforce the individual mandate.
Sen. Joe Manchin, D-W.V., is working on a bill that would delay the $95 individual mandate penalty, a spokesman for Manchin said Wednesday.

There are legal cases with Obamacare, which are now before at least 3 different Courts.
I am concerned that any attempt now, by Democrats, to “Delay” Obamacare will really be used to fix LEGAL problems with the existing law, and to nullify the Court Cases concerning the Federal Exchange authority to give tax credits and impose penalties.
The only thing on the table now is a complete repeal.
They want to delay it till after the midterms so they can recapture the house. I can’t believe the stupid party offered it to them in the first place. I volunteer for speaker. I know I can do a better job than boner.
Excuse me, Mr. Barrow. Don't call on Obama to delay it. He doesn't have the authority.
Why don't you call on your fellow Congressmen to pass a delay bill, and then SEND it to Obama!

They threw out so many vile and outrageous insults, implemented the most spiteful closures... they were so despicable and insistent on their way or the highway... FINE. Let they have it the way they wanted it.
That's why I'm perplexed at why Marco Rubio was out in front calling for a delay yesterday. He should have stayed quiet and let Harry Reid get all the attention.
And today, we have Boehner talking about bringing immigration reform back up for debate. Again, why give the Democrats the opportunity to change the subject when they're stewing in their own mess?
It's the stupid party snatching defeat from the jaws of victory again.
