Well, the good news is that HHS has actually tried to fix a few things on the Healthcare.gov website. The bad news is that the fixes make the confusion and incompetence even worse. After hearing a hailstorm of criticism over the necessity to completely enroll before seeing premium prices, HHS added a premium estimator on the front page of the website. However, unless you are exactly 27 or 50 years old, the estimates you get will wildly undershoot what youll be forced to pay.
CBS reports that industry analysts cant believe what they are seeing:

Duh!
What is the Federal Government Form that we taxpayers can use to file to recover our taxpayer dollars spent by the Administration on the Obamacare Insurance Boondoggle?
Since the US House approved this waste of taxpayer money, should we file against the House majority Red Ink Republicans, or the House minority Red Ink Democrats?
What would happen if Nationwide, or State Farm, or Prudential, or Mutual of Omaha, pulled a bait-and-switch, promising applicants one price when they signed up on their website, and then charging them a higher price when they actually got the bill?

Gee ya think Cruz was right???
It’s the honor system right?
Just say you are 27...

The numbers for older Americans are even more striking. A 62-year-old in Charlotte looking for the same basic plan would get a price estimate on the government website of $394. The actual price is $634.
To me that means they set prices,.
38% low. It's no big deal if you're very wealthy. Or if you're exempt.
And the Dems are going to blame the insurance industry for it. It's in the game plan.
As a very, very wise poster here on FR has said a few times in the past:
Ted Cruz never puts a foot down wrong.
(Credit goes to the very wise and substantive nathanbedford for this.)
Looks that way.
It’s a sweet deal if you own the media - I tell Joe that Bob will sell him a car for $1000 and Bob says no, it costs $3000, and I start yelling that it’s all Bob’s fault the price is so high. MSNBC and CNN back me up and guess who’s the bad guy?
I think CBS, CNN and every other liberal media organ is trying desperately to knock Obama off his hubris and get him to call a time-out. Otherwise Democrats in Congress are facing another Electoral Tsunami.

Agreed. The MSM never attacks this president unless they feel ultimately his and their cause will be helped by it. In fact, all of this may be initiated by the White House.
Disagree.
They’re still softballing Obama. If this were a Republican president, they’d be doing editorials, half hour TV specials, working the failure to launch story into every TV show etc...
It just goes to show you how far into the tank they are for Obama that the least bit of criticism feels like they’re “going after Obama”.
ObamaCare on ObamaWare. What could go wrong?
Do you mean to tell me that clueless libs, who don’t know a thing about capitalism, don’t understand the cost of things?
Wow!
