The Worst Is Yet To Come (The Warning Must Be Heeded)

Democrats have only one goal to accomplish between now and the 2014 elections: To paint Republicans as the bad guys. In doing so, they'll win the 2014 elections, gain control of the House of Representatives, and as President Reagan once said, the rest of us will be spending "our sunset years telling our children...what it once was like in America when men were free."

Democrats are off to a good start; great, really. They, along with their willing accomplices in the media, propagated a lie by suggesting Republicans are responsible for the partial government shutdown. So far, it has worked and Democrats are hoping to cash that check on election night next year.

Unable to help himself, Obama held a victory press conference and used the opportunity to belittle the Republican Party over "manufactured crises" and "repeated brinkmanship" to "undermine our economy." If you missed the speech, you can read it online at: http://tinyurl.com/keemmsc.

So, here's truth: The president's and his party's own brinkmanship is responsible for the shutdown because they refused to compromise. According to USA Today, during an October 3 appearance in Rockville, Maryland, Obama threatened the U.S. might default on its debt: "As reckless as a government shutdown is...an economic shutdown that results from default would be dramatically worse... Default would be the result if Congress does not increase the debt ceiling by October 17."

He also hurled threat bombs that the U.S. "would see its credit rating drop;" interest rates would rise which would "curb economic activity across the world;" we'd see "falling pensions and home values and rising interest rates on things like mortgages and student loans...putting us back into a bad recession..."

The toothless lion roared and then the stock markets tanked.

So why did he do it? Because he thinks it'll help his party win, and because the Republican establishment makes for an easy target. Obama is like the kid in the back of the class with a gas problem. Then, when everyone notices the smell, succeeds in blaming it on the innocent kid two rows over. There is a stench rising over Washington and Obama simply points in the direction of the GOP and smiles.

During his October 17 speech, Obama said Republicans' actions caused: "more damage to America's credibility in the world" which "encouraged our enemies...emboldened our competitors, and...depressed our friends..." In reality, Democrats' actions caused these things to happen and no one called them out on it.

It comes as no surprise though, because most of mainstream media's so-called "journalists" lack the intestinal fortitude, intellectual wherewithal, and moral compass to report the truth, but would rather find ways to buddy up with their Cool Prez and propagandize their own liberal ideology to boot.

Here's what is currently circulating among liberal ranks: a picture of Obama saying, "Send me a Congress in 2014 that wants to build a road, send me a Congress in 2014 that cares about the middle class, send me a Congress in 2014 that will help me create jobs and fight global warming. Then and only then will we get things done."

ObamaCare legislation was just the beginning.

The Bible's prophet Amos' posed a question which Establishment Republicans and the Tea Party should consider: "Can two walk together, except they be agreed?" Sometimes we have to agree to disagree. Unless Republicans stand together against the onslaught of liberal ideology, they and those of us who love freedom do not stand a chance come 2014.

The lazy and the stupid are fat dumb and happy with the pre digested clap-trap the media regurgitates into their mouthes every day

Yup and 2/3 of Americans are dumb as a box of rocks. Their lives are being taken away while they play. For the 1/3 we have very little power of influence because the communists Democrats are lying filth and are supported by the MSM. Polls are mostly unbalanced minds.

Trying to turn it around is like pissing on a forest fire. I just think that intellectual laziness is ingrained to far for some Americans to be jolted out of their stupor.
I just think trying is a waste of time.

The low informational voter is the MSM. That’s clear. How anyone can believe this BS coming from Carney and others day in and day out is beyond me. Noone asks the tough questions. No one.

Did any sentient Republican think we would not be blamed for the shutdown, true or not? I hope everyone thinks it was worth it when Obama rams the rest of his agenda down our throats.

Holding nose! I hate that ... holding nose!

As Snoopy said, when he refused a dish of crappy cheap cut-rate dog food that Charlie Brown tried to give him, "The eye can be deceived but the nose knows."

Things stink when they are rotten or toxic, and your nose warns you. You are wise to heed your nose.

Voting for poison is voting for poison whether it's dished up by a Republican or a Democrat.

People -- and I was one for three decades -- pretending otherwise by "holding their noses" is how we got here.

Reagan didn't win because people held their noses to vote for him -- he won because Americans knew he believed in them. Obama (and indeed most of the left, such as Al Franken) only won because Democrats had to harvest and manufacture votes, bribe homeless to the polls (people who would never bother to vote otherwise, and rightly), push restrictions on voter ID, frustrate the military vote, sic the IRS on the left's political enemies, and resort to outright vote fraud. Not to mention failing to impose perfectly justifiable requirement that able-bodied on welfare necessarily then relinquish their voting franchise.

We are a MAJORITY over whom a tyrannical minority that cheated to get where it is, is trying to clamp control. We hate this. It's why America looks the way it does today, with hundreds of thousands of bikers converging on Washington DC on 911, and many thousands protesting in DC on Oct. 13, hauling away barricades blocking national monuments and piling those barricades in front of the White House. There were thousands of Americans of every age, color, and type. Regular Americans they were.

The MSM ignored it and failed to tell America and the world, or to show it.

If elections were counted per legitimate votes, America would be a lot freer and more moral today.

The media's spell and illusion is a difficult one to break, but it is an illusion in any case and all illusions fail when reality hits the fan. Too many rabbit-hearted Republicans and conservatives think "everybody else" is the way the MSM paints it in front of them. They have come to loath and hate with the ardor of Frenchmen that "most Americans are dumb as a box of rocks." Hooray America.

The MSM's snapshot of America is an illusion that looks real, like a balsa wood train bridge on a movie set. For good or for bad, when reality hits, when the real locomotive tries to use it, it's going to collapse. The reality is that productive Americans are dominated by a freedom-loving majority. It has been cocooned by the liberal (with authority and tax $) left minority.

And these are the consequences.

She may be right but to me it’s looking like all these 0bamaRobertscare ‘glitches’ are going to wipe all other considerations out of the voting public’s minds.

And everyone will know it’s all the fault of the Dimocrats. Ted Cruz made sure of that. Republicans tried to either stop or delay 0bamaRobertscare.

People will remember it was the Dimocrats that were hell-bent to start it on October 1st, 2013.

You didn't vote for Romney? You didn't vote "against" Obama?

Me neither. I voted for making sure whichever bastard won had one less vote mandate by giving it to a third party. I was hoping enough would do so to force a plurality on whichever bastard won. Imagine if Obama was sitting in office with only 43 percent of the popular vote. Or Romney, for that matter. They'd be vulnerable politically and conservatism would have the upper hand.

I always vote, unless I have no idea what/whom I'm voting for, then I leave it blank. That doesn't usually happen because I do my due diligence. My right to vote was paid for in blood. It's my duty to exercise the franchise to the best of my informed ability to affect change.

Will they remember? No one is telling them that, no one is blaming Obama, I am waiting to see what "slogan" they come up with to blame the R's for Obamacare. I do not think it is beyond reason for them to push a narrative of why the website is not working on the R's. And the media will happily pick it up and run with it.

R's caused the shut down, R's caused the "glitches" in the website because of the shut down. We would have had it finished if it were not for the shut down that REPUBLICANS caused, the health care bill and website would be working fine if it wasn't for the Republicans existing!!!
