Gasoline prices are a mixed bag this week, though there are signs that the bottom has been reached. On the other hand, diesel prices have decreased compared against the week before. On average, gasoline prices are down a penny....
Regular gasoline/gallon $1.84

Just saw a Miami tv report applauding the "relief" for drivers.
Just a reminder that right when the Clown seized power, gas was LESS than $2 a gallon. Now his disastrous policies create more than $3 a gallon for YEARS and the media doesn't criticize.

Dropping fuel prices are a BAD sign. It means industrial production and use is dropping. Fuel prices do NOT normally drop unless there is impending economic malaise on the way. The general public does not know this.

WHY then, is home heating oil so high and going up ?? Do you think it is possible that demand goes up as winter approaches?

Additionally ... how many people really heat with oil any more?
I do because of where I live in rural SW Pa. and my physical plant .. a mobile home.
Are there THAT many mobile homes in rural America that have not converted to NG ?

It sounds like Barry’s “media” toadies are trying to use this as a distraction away from the ObamaCare fiasco. Ain’t gonna work. Down 2 cents this week, up three cents next week. Big deal.

Not necessarily, Mene. Lower prices are GOOD when supply is increased...for instance, a keystone pipeline or a new oil field is discovered.
If high energy prices were indicative of a good economy, Obamugabe would be overseeing a boom. He isn’t.

Not in MY neighborhood.
I even tried to get a WV company to deliver, but they were all $3.31 - $3.35

That is wholesale price on the commodities exchange. Not a small volume delivery price to the home.

You d'man, Thack ... I'm not tryin' to pick a fight.
Just that, I tried to find fuel oil in the summer and it hadn't changed from last years' winter price ... and now it is going up ... and I can't do anything about it.

I'm not tryin' to pick a fight. I understand that. And of course local area pricing can be affected by lots of things that don't show up in a commodities exchange price.
Cheers!
