The United States Congress canceled the delivery to Turkey of 10 Predatorsunmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)following Turkish intelligence chief Hakan Fidan's disclosure of the identity of 10 Iranians who had been allegedly working for Mossad with the Iranian intelligence service, the Turkish newspaper Taraf daily reported.

Another blunder!??!?
Some Iranians are in favor of a more democratic government, vs an airtight caliphate. These Iranians will now suffer greatly for their courage, as will their families. Thanks for nothing, Turkey. I guess Turkey doesn’t need our American dollar diplomacy when they have China ringing their doorbell every other day with all these promises. Moreover, China doesn’t pretend to be hurt or particularly bothered by the Turkish Jew-hate as the American President is forced to pretend.
I was at Incerlik Air Base in 1982. I thought Turkey was the absolute arm pit of the world. I doubt if things have changed much since then.
I left Ankara in 2009 - it was still one of the arm-pits of the world. It was interesting to see how everybody from the Prime Minister to the receptionist at the Air Force HQ got ‘on message’ though; when they decided they wanted Predators (their own, not the ones we’ve operated for them for free since 2006), everyone up and down the chain went into begging mode. Thank God we cut their Foreign Military Aid from around $14 million to a big fat goose-egg. IMHO, we should press the Oscar Foxtrot Foxtrot switch on everything we’ve given them over the past 50 years.
If youd like to be on or off, please FR mail me.

If they want them, they'll buy them from Israel. That's where they got them in the past.
Thanks Olog-hai. Interesting development — almost as if the election is over and Obama has more leeway to screw Turkey on behalf of Russia.
