Uhm, did you even read his speech? If not, you might want to take the time and do so.
As an ex-mo, married to a mormon, I think he did a pretty good job of interweaving his Christian beliefs within the framework of his speech. Called out some of the more relevant differences between mormonism and Christianity. The trinity, salvation by grace, etc.
But the topic is family...and in that he commends them for their strong belief in the family unit. Something I think all faiths would/should recognize as something of paramount importance in this day and age.
I would not be found within 10 miles of such a group, much less singing their praises. In this Moehler is part of the problem.
