It seems the insurance companies are in the tank for Obamacare hoping they can force us into their plans. What if we form our own self-insurance insurance exchanges and pay cash for minor things and let our pool pay for hospital costs.
Christian healthcare co-ops already exist and are one of the few exemptions under the new law that will allow you to avoid both the exchanges and the tax penalty. There are presently only three that qualify, Medi-Share, Christian Healthcare Ministries, and Samaritan Ministries.
