Even before Erodgan took power the Muslim Brotherhood began infiltrating the Turkish government bureaucracy. Today they dominate it. But like the Egyptian Army I think the Turkish military remains basically secular. The civil unrest in Turkey is bound to erupt again as long as Erodgan is in power. If it gets bad enough the Army may side with the people and kick Erodgan out. If so they will have to purge the government of MB.
Erodgan has already purged the Army, several times. He knows that a secular revolution will come from there so he has castrated the Army and good.
It will take time for them to regroup but the majority of Turks are, like Egypt, in favor of the MB.

Despite this back stabbing, Obama forced Netanyahu to apologize to the dictator of Ankara.
