A few days ago a pit bull puppy was on the verge of death. His ears had been cut off, and then he was abandoned under a bridge at 69th Street in Upper Darby. Luckily, a woman found him on Wednesday and immediately contacted Melvin Buzz Miller at the Montgomery County-based PACT for Animals organization.
Miller advised the woman to take the puppy to Stoney Creek Veterinary Hospital, located in Ridley Township.
He was bleeding profusely from his ears, said Dr. Kelly Slattery, a veterinarian at Stoney Creek.
Slattery said it appears someone tried to crop the puppys ears with the intent of turning him into a so-called fighting dog later. Someone literally chopped his ears off close to the base of his skull with scissors or a knife, she said.

Hope you’re not holding your breath.
Right now Rusty has a long, long way to go.
He has skin infections (bacterial and yeast), dental issues, ear infections, and scars around his neck from bite wounds or a chain. Also has dog aggression issues.
Rusty prefers women over men so far.
Never hold my breath for salamanders.
“Anyone who seems to find joy or humor in an animal being mutilated............
_______________________________________________
Excuse me, but where did I advocate dog, or any animal, mutilation?
I simply state that it is a pathetic breed, and I question the mentality of those that would own one.
I have a dog here, as well as five cats. My neighbor’s dog comes to me to get fed.
Now, who is the ignorant one?
You
So I Googled Upper Darby PA and one of the more interesting results was from someone thinking of moving there and asking about demographics.
A poster familiar with the place simply described it as “ghetto as hell” and another said “not much better than West Philly”.
One may make a reasonable inference from that.
PLEASE get a lot of this and keep it on hand
You will not believe your eyes.
One of my Ibizans had a blown immune system and developed severe demodectic mange.
Nothing the vets did helped her and she lost 50% of her hair.
I bought this on the recommendation of people in a Pit forum and I kid you not, peach fuzz hair was growing from her raw, bald skin the day after I applied it.
Within a week, she was no longer raw, lumpy or hairless.
If I had not seen it happening, I would not have believed it, either.
The stuff is a wonder cure.
Bacteria, yeast, mange, infected wounds..it slays them all.
That is Wendy, the double-muscled Whippet.
” Interested?”

No thanks !! My dog is much better looking :). She just raised five puppies, all of which now have new homes.
I was poking fun at the pathetic poster.
Did they DNA the pup?
And!
The double-muscled, two headed, two tailed eight legged Whippet!
Ah..okay.
I’ll put away the switchblade.
:D
The DNA tests are a joke that makes money for the jokers.
I’ve seen *purebred* dogs get results that are absolutely insane.
I as well.
I don’t care for pit bulls. But I hate anyone who abuses them. I hope this guy meets up with some severe pain someday.
I just assumed.
Dino-vite is amazing.
Our std poodle always had ear infections. After dino-vite no more.
VERY smart dog. It’s like he understand English.
