For over forty years, many of our good citizens have been marching to the wrong drummer. The 17th Amendment, ratified in 1913, is glaring evidence that citizens were not being taught the federal government's constitutionally limited powers. And I question if most parents, particularly immigrant parents, were ever making sure that their children were being taught the federal governmet's limited powers the way that the Founding States had intended for those powers to be understood.
