Ramses the Great dyed his hair with henna but that must have been because it was turning gray. His original color was red.

The Egyptian god Seth - kind of their equivalent of Loki - is depicted with red hair. (Like Loki.) Ramses II’s father was the Pharoah Sethi, suggesting that the entire dynasty had red hair.
