I have no affinity for the DC Redskins other than they were once from Boston. However, I’m with Snyder 100%. I think he’s tough enough to say pound sand, forever, if need be. I know the Redskins have enough brand equity to withstand the limp wristed Bob Costas and dopey journo’s that don’t know a false start from offside. It’s important for the political and speech rights of the rest of us that Snyder does NOT say uncle.
It’s a business. I guarantee that as soon as it becomes obvious that they are losing money because of the name they will fold faster than flash Gordon in an origami class.
