The constitution being written by free masons is a little over the top.

I’m sure there is tons of anti-mason, occult-mason, etc., stuff out there, but all I ever see are a bunch of old guys (OG) in a club wearing funny hats.

So, why not “Lions”, or “Little Leaguers”, or “Bass Masters”, or whatever other club folks join. I know...because this OG donating a leg to a child amputee is actually Darth Vader. Got it.

Many of the Founders were, indeed, theists and subscribers to Freemasonry, and the Zeitgeist of the age was on the heels of the Age of Enlightenment, which had a very large Godless contingent. But so what?

Many, if not most, were devout in their allegiance to Christianity. Even so, the Founders DEFERRED to the prominent religion and its worldview of the West, Christianity. So much so that they could not think of this new form of government apart from the taming, civilizing influences of Christianity.
