The White House is standing by pro-abortion HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius, saying there are no plans to fire her despite the abject failure that is Obamacare. A campaign to fire Sebelius has been growing since the abortive launch of the Obamacare exchange web sites.
From a report in The Hill:
The White House stood by Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius on Tuesday, as Republicans called for her resignation over the botched rollout of ObamaCare.
The primary website for consumers to sign up for insurance is still not functioning as promised, two weeks since its launch.
White House press secretary Jay Carney said Tuesday that President Obama still trusts Sebeliuss stewardship of his signature legislative achievement. The secretary does have the full confidence of the president, Carney said during his daily press briefing.
Republicans have said Sebelius should resign or be fired over the problems facing healthcare.gov the portal for consumers in 36 states to shop for and buy insurance.
The site was unusable when it came online, and is still not fully functional two weeks later.
If this were a company and not the government, shed already be gone. She should be fired, Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus said in a statement Tuesday.
Carney conceded that there had been challenges within the website, but said officials were working 24/7″ to fix the portal.
Guy Benson, a conservative writer at Town Hall, laughed at the White House response: Anyone surprised? I mean, this guy still has his job, as does everyone who dropped the ball over Benghazi. Not to worry, Kathleen the program youre overseeing may be a trainwreck of epic proportions, but your job is safe. One veteran Congressional Democrat has been even more generous, opining that absolutely no one should be fired over the healthcare meltdown. Ah, the fringe benefits of government work. The laws technical snafus continue to pile up, and may be months away from operating somewhat adequately.

With Obamacare leading to taxpayer funding of abortions, massive layoffs at hospitals and medical centers and a botched system few seem to be able to sign up on, calls to fire pro-abortion HHS Secretary Kathleen Sebelius are growing.
Senate Republicans are already calling for Kathleen Sebelius to resign her post. And these voices of public disapproval will only grow louder in the days ahead, I can assure you, Town Hall reports.
Sebelius has been President Barack Obamas main organizer and cheerleader for Obamacare since its inception. But you know the government-run health care plan is bad when the Secretary of the Health and Human Services Department cant get anyone from her own state to sign up for it.
Never admit anything, never apologize, and never show any sign of doubt.
I will admit, Obama does that well.
I believe in reincarnation-—so much so that I think Margaret Sanger has come back as Kathleen Sebelius. She retained the original ug-ug-ugaly gene however. Must be an eternal thang.
“Failure is Success” should be added to the boilerplate list of 1984’isms.

Yes, failure is the goal so that they can implement “emergency” measures of full socialism - temporarily, of course.
Epic fail has no negative consequences in the Current Regime now squatting in the White Hut (or “Spite Hut”). Usually results in some kind of bonus, in fact.
If they are denying it, you know they are thinking about it!
Doesn't that phrase usually precede a resignation by a couple of days?
The big guy is not going to fire a fellow redistributionist marxist.
the milk is already spilled, no use crying now. What? People can't sign up then? Too bad.
Excellent quote.
Obama only fires Military Personnel
“White House: No Plans to Fire Kathleen Sebelius Despite Massive Obamacare Failure”
Ha! Where I work, it’s a hanging offense if I put a period upside down!!
Why fire someone who’s creating confusion, chaos and in some, panic?! This is her job. When she interviewed they asked...”Can you create confusion, chaos and panic”? “Why yes I can”! “You’re hired”!
