... Obama lectured members of Congress on Thursday on their responsibility to serve the country, urging them to negotiate with him on the budget and immigration reform instead of endangering the country with games of "brinkmanship."

Decrying the "pressure from extremes" he blamed for the 16-day government shutdown that ended Thursday morning, Obama said political opponents should instead try to affect government at the ballot box.

When they win, they never really win. When they lose and the Dems are in charge, the R’s are blamed by the Dems for the Dems not getting anything done. If a member of the military had written such a letter or if they speak out against it as a form of political strong arming , they would be put up on charges, yet they have to suck this up from their own SECDEF who adheres to and sets policy.
