If you look at the numbers, it is impossible that we “are at the 2008 spending level.” We know the gov takes in $200B a month and we know that this $1T debt ceiling increase will only get us through January! Hence, it is clear that the plan is to spend $450B a month!
He’s reading the columns/lines wrong, or something. Even W did spend at these levels.
