The Associated Press has declared Newark Mayor Cory Booker the winner in Wednesday's special U.S. Senate election.
Booker defeated former Bogota Mayor Steve Lonegan, a Tea Party Republican, to serve out the remainder of the late Frank Lautenbergs term.
Although the race was close early on, Democrats were quick to declare Booker the winner. Only 40 minutes after polls closed at 8 p.m., the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee was declaring victory. A short time later, state Sen. Barbara Buono, who is running against Governor Christie in the Nov. 5 election, offered her congratulations to Booker.

Dead people and illegals always vote Dem, it was in the bag for Booker before the votes were even counted.

America continues to circle the drain.
Heartbreaking.
The MSM is gushing over this little twink as being a “rising star” in politics.
Have they ever used that term to describe a Conservative?

Or the state party. I got a Kyrillos email on the daily from NJGOP last cycle. Signs everywhere. Mailers too. TV commercials in key time slots.
Lonegan's votes/dollars ratio must be through the roof.

Let’s take bets when Booker gets busted for corruption.

I don’t think anyone who knows politics expected Lonegan to win, but I was curious as to the closeness of the vote. He did better than expected, hope he can close the gap to sub-10%.

This election is just to fill the remaining term. NJ gets to try this all over again next year. Maybe the national party will push a little support his way.

The Democrats did not need to cheat in this race. If Booker got a 50% turnout of legal black women voters alone, that would have put him over the top. The GOP in NJ is a club. The Democrats are a party.

They’re probably having a sleepover party.

Ann Coulter said it this morning, in between fits of madness, praising McConnell to the hilt by virtue that he’s better than Trent Lott ever was, who admitted to have been in it for the money.
She reminded that ‘democrats do not lose close races’

I think my Senator Cornyn is involved with NRSC. I'll be giving him a call tomorrow to speak to him as one would speak to a red-headed step child.

Maybe the national party will push a little support his way.Not Lonegan. The national party hates him because he's an actual real life conservative.
If they dug up Christie Todd Whitman's bones and ran them, she'd get more party support than Lonegan.

Republicans will win fewer and fewer elections until they figure out a way to stop the democrat fraud and ballot box stuffing.
