Just heard Boehner say this on the hourly news five minutes ago regarding the Senate compromise.
Hey John, THERE HASN'T BEEN A VOT IN THE HOUSE YET. You are deciding we didn't win when you can still defeat this compromise which gives us NOTHING!
Lead, help...or get the hell out of the way!
If you pass this with the Democrates and a minority of Republicans you need to be out as the GOP leader and Speaker of the House tomorrow.

Good point. They’ll get it quickly, though. It’s completely over once TX decides to head for the exit. Then it’ll just be shades of screwed, glued, and tatooed for whomever is left. For Texans as well.
They should have just bent over and presented behind the first day. ‘We said, please Mr. Dictator sir,we don’t want to obey you’- and he said, ‘Bow, slaves, its obedience or destruction and you will be blamed.’ So we said, ‘okaaaay’.
FOOLS! HE considers them irrelevant, now he has convinced some of their constituents that they are impediments to the greater good. They will be out of jobs- Congress disbanded-soon.
That about covers it.
So, how much is it going to cost to move the cliffs back to reopen the Grand Canyon? Bunch of pansies running the country. Not that my vote counts for much and probably not at all in voting fixes, but I will have my say next time.
The Constitution does say that “revenue” bills must originate in the House, but Bob Dole went around that to get some higher taxes in 1982 when he was chair of the Senate Finance Committee. Another old GOP loser from the past
TX has a lot of liberals too in central city San Antonio, Houston, Dallas, Austin, and the whole Rio Grande Valley. People do look for freebies wherever they can find them.
This system of government has reached an end that can’t be fixed at the ballot box any more.
Maybe the emperor wears no clothes, but he had a claim to fame as the youngest fighter pilot in WWII, and Ronald W. Reagan did pick him. Now its Jebbie's turn to lose.
I think a lot of this cowardice goes back to Nixon’s fear of the media. He constantly let the media put him in an unpopular box.
Remember too the “conservative” members embraced Boehner from the start and still do.

Conservatives must keep on fighting and there are ways they can still win it if they have the gumption.
The only fight Boehner engaged in was towards Conservatives. He continually surrenders to Obama.
It’s as if the House doesn’t exist.
They could simply refuse to go along, and the president and senate would have ZERO recourse but to deal.
The House was given the ultimate power over the US government....NOT the president.
A speaker with his caucus behind him cannot be defeated.
