Yes, it is. And there are losers. I am one of them. Tomorrow I will burn the last of my vacation. Over $2,000 worth of leave....poof, gone.
After that, I start losing pay directly.
And since I am a contractor, I won’t get re-imbursed.
I’m on Leave Without Pay as of today. I’m gearing up for a job search starting Oct 17, and I am so well-regarded, I should have several offers by Oct 27. Unless my contracting company does something good for me, I’m outta here.
