but, if a new conservative party is formed, plan to be in for the long haul. If this happens today, a Democrat will easily win the 2016 presidential election over a conservative party and the nominee of the remnants of the Republican party.
There has to be a long term commitment to build a majority in the future, looking past the next few election cycles.
Democrat will easily win the 2016 presidential election
*******
There is a risk of that, of course. But by then the economy may be in such a mess that no Democrat will be able to win. The economy is being propped up by the Fed, and it is rapidly running out of bullets. And Obamacare is going to do even more damage beyond what has already occurred. The economy is living on borrowed time.
The Republican Party is too weak, confused and compromised to survive IMO. Its brand is sullied byond repair. And the Democrat brand is well on its way to infamy as well given the stupendous calamity that Obamacare will be.
The establishment of a new party is a long term endeavor, for sure, but we can’t wait for the Republican Party to reform, turn around or embrace the Tea Party. Its just not going to happen.
