Every JR I've ever seen was hyper, but this one seems to have an added attribute of sheer neuroses, to boot, lol. He wants to fight my vacuum, my broom, my mop, he bullies my sweetest golden lab (until the lab fnally gets fed up and nips him on the ear, good and hard), he tries to ride herd on the other dogs, and he can't stand my husband to come near me. When someone stays in our guest room, he holes up in there and "adopts" whomever it is, and runs us (my husband and me) out of the room! He always has to be in the middle of whatever's going on. He's just too smart and energetic to not always be interested and alert to his environment.

They are funny dogs. My sister has one. Intelligent and “wiry”. I call her the “Barney Fife” of dogs.
