It's always amazing to me the varied reactions of folks in a panic or in stressful situations. It brings out the best and the worst in people. Kind of like separating the wheat from the chaff. ;)

Much depends upon the circumstance itself and the kind of people that you find yourself around at the time. There are always a few who act stupid while others are saints. It depends a lot on how grounded they are, their upbringing and beliefs.
