Somehow I don’t think FR’s techie would think that’s funny. ;-)
I wanted to vote for Robert Kennedy. That didn’t work out, and disillusioned, I didn’t vote for a long time.
I had a Conservative mentor at the place where I worked, and for months he talked me through with questions about my beliefs about what is and is not fair and Constitutional.
He was a lovely man, born in China of American parents. His name was Easter Thomas because he was born on Easter Sunday. He was towering tall, 6’5”, and he was an inspector of our product.
Through his tutelage I was stunned to find out at the age of 25 that I was a Constitutional Conservative, having been a red-diaper baby with Democrat parents, my father a Teamster.
After studying the candidates and the issues, I never voted for a Democrat again.
Isn’t it great that we didn’t stay down there in that cesspool?
I saw Babs Boxer on Fox earlier .... doesn’t do me much good, but I can say with pride that I never voted for that______. Fill in the blank. :)

Wasn’t paying that much attention when he was governor but am sure he was inept. Remember that Lester Maddox beat Carter the first time he ran in 66. Saw Lester in Underground Atlanta in the early 70’s and got my dad an autographed picture of him which he was thrilled with.

I’ve never voted for a democrat in my life. In my Kindergarten School picture, I am sporting an “I Like Ike” button on my Lace Collar.
