Ah for some neither is 'sola scripture', worthy of Christ.
Well how about acting Christian. That’s what I’m saying.
I’d agree, being rooted in Christ would mean a lot more love and a lot less complaining.
Hopefully someday Just mythoughts will become Just Hislove. It’s super easy to get distracted by externals in a Western world that is, for the time being, fairly easy to live a Christian life in. Once gnarly evil begins to besiege, all this fluff goes by the wayside and actual Christians will unite, spanning denominational boundaries like they weren’t even there.
Acting is a liberal function. Reality is what it is. Christ did not sugar coat when He spoke, and last I read He set the standard. Christ was the ultimate 'protester' to the long existing religious philosophy in His day. Those good old religious boys wanted His head.
Oh and also they will begin to fight back... against Satan, not people... and share the gospel love (aka evangelizing). Because the light shined in the darkness and the darkness has not overcome it. Satan can’t put out God’s love and he goes crazy trying.
Quibbles quibbles quibbles... sigh. If you don’t like the word “act” then how about this. *DO* Christianity, then. From a heart of love.
I love our Heavenly Father and His Only Begotten Son. I refuse to pray to anyone else but to the Heavenly Father in the name of His Only Begotten Son. Just like Christ instructed. That is love, to teach Christ. That 'wrath' (cup) that Christ referenced about getting passed over is daily nearing the day when it gets dumped down here to the inhabitants on this earth. What kind is love is it to feed the flood of deception this old earth is nearly drowning from without and within?
In front of Fatima statue, Pope Francis entrusts the world to Mary
By Francis X Rocca on Monday, 14 October 2013
“Many in the crowd held small replicas of the crowned statue of Our Lady of Fatima, which had arrived in Rome the previous afternoon on a flight from Lisbon.
An Italian air force helicopter transported the statue, inside an ivory-coloured triangular container resembling a musical instrument case, to Vatican City. The statue was then brought to the residence of retired Pope Benedict XVI at the Mater Ecclesiae monastery, where he briefly venerated the statue in the monasterys small chapel. Afterwards, Pope Francis welcomed the statue at the Vatican guesthouse where he lives.”
