None of these polls are relevant anymore, especially after the last election. Who cares if his popularity is down to 0.5%? Really.

The POTUS is into his second term, done tremendous damage, continues to do so and he's made of Teflon.

If Presidents could have run for 3 terms, this would be significant but it just plain isn't relevant anymore.

The President can have a low approval rating and still go for a 2 week golf game. Who cares that he is LESS popular than he was?

Maybe he looks in the mirror for 2.5 hours each morning and is a bit disappointed at the numbers but will that stop his reckless course of so-called leadership? Methinks not so drop the polls all ready and start gearing up for 2016.

Just pray we make it to that election in one piece.

His disapproval is up because the course he has chosen, stonewalling on the debt ceiling , is unpopular. The Republicans need to dig in and resist all the media flak.

“...continues to do so and he’s made of Teflon.”

Funny, John Gotti thought the very same thing!

“None of these polls are relevant anymore, especially after the last election.”

Well that’s not entirely true. There’s another election in about a year, and a president’s high disapproval numbers can adversely affect his party’s electability in the mid-term elections: Clinton in 94, Bush in 2006, and 0bama in 2010.

In the case of Clinton in 94 and Obama in 2010, efforts to screw with people’s health care were at the heart of their party’s losses in Congress.

Elections have consequences: we won the House in 2012 and will do so again in 2014 (along with the Senate, I believe.) Obama is being made to look like the feckless, hapless, libtard he really is, and futher wins in the next election will further cement his place in history as the worst. president. ever.

Approval ratings are very important. A President in the low 30’s approval will start to lose his own party’s support. The MSM will turn in him also.
