Thanks very much, FRiend! I was passed by several barackades at the Wall - being walked from the Lincoln Memorial to the WH.



I took this long shot of the Lincoln Memorial as people were dispersing from the WWII Memorial. You can't see it very well in this shot, but the stairs to the Lincoln Memorial were packed.

At about noon I was sitting on a park bench on Constitution Ave. when a quartet of Mounted Park Rangers rose by. They gave us thumbs-up and thanks - we did the same.
