The Daily Mail's Thursday scoop revealed that just 51,000 Americans successfully enrolled in the federal Obamacare exchanges over its first week -- an infinitesimally tiny percentage of the "46 million" uninsured Americans the law's supporters frequently cite. But is the real number actually a fraction of that fraction? Oh my:
Based upon my survey of a large number ofhealth plans accounting for substantial market share in the 36 states the federal insurance exchange is operating in, not more than about 5,000 individuals and families signed-upfor health insurance in the 36 states run by the Obama administration through Monday. It is not uncommon for a major health insurer with a large market share to report less than 100 enrollments in the first week. Reports today say the enrollments continue to trickle in at about the same rate. Worse, the backroom connection between the insurance companies and the federal government is a disaster. Things are worse behind the curtain than in front of it. Here is one example from a carrier--and I have received numerous reports from many other carriers with exactly the same problem. One carrier exec told me that yesterday they got 7 transactions for 1 person - 4 enrollments and 3 cancelations.

5,000 data-corrupted applications sent to the insurance companies.
How many of the 5000 will have their IDs stolen?
I dont see how they managed to enroll anybody with that app.
I’m on Medicare so I’m out of the loop here but when I read that you had to register and give personal info BEFORE you could check rates I was appalled.
They must think everyone has the IQ of a rock.
.
The horizontal fins. ‘59 Impala had them like that too (only more so).
That’s going to be something to watch in the months ahead.
Obama Nocare is a disaster of monstrous proportions.
Any idiot willing to throw their life history to Barry gets what they deserve.
FU Barry.
Maybe it’s time for a lot of disinformation being submitted to this behemoth.
Just for fun of course.
On the state sites you definitely don't have to do that.
I continue to think that governors who refused Expanded Medicaid and the state exchanges , given the realities of the situation, did not do their citizens any favors.
Also, you may be back "in the loop" eventually when everything collapses and single payer emerges.
ANYONE who has tried to get on the website would be astounded that 500, much less 5,000 have been able to enroll!
Don’t get me started. The truth alone will handle it. :^)
Obama’s brand of socialism makes the communist-era Yugo look like great engineering.
I remember the Edsel very well. I predict it will be remembered as a grand success when compared to Obamacare.
Uh, yeah they did do us a favor. I don’t want my state taxes going into the implementation of this boondoggle. The citizens can do us all a favor and not try to sign up, especially since it sounds like most of the people signing up already have and can afford insurance, they’re just looking for a price cut courtesy of the U.S. taxpayer.
Only hundreds have been able to sign up for a health care plan at the Obamacare websites. The Wall Street Journal reported:
Okay now we will try the landline # 1-800-318-2596 listed above or 1-800-318-2596 = 1-800-FAU-CKYO.
Good one!
