My Mum's Father (Aka Grandfather) fought in Korea, he passed away in '94 sadly :(
My grandmother is on the left. She was in the WAVES while granddad was in Europe. Because of her I was eating pomegranate before most non Jewish Americans had ever heard of them. One of the women she served with was Jewish and introduced her to the fruit.
