The only way the USA defaults on it's debt contracts is when clown refuses to make the interest payments. We take in about $200 BILLION a month and the interest payments are about 1/10th of that. THE US CONSITUTION REQUIRES HIM TO PAY THESE OBLIGATIONS FIRST.

Understand, which is why I put “default” in quotes. You can bet that even if Obama pays the bond holders first, he will make the other cuts as painful to as many people as possible. The technical issue of a default will be lost for most voters.
