What motivated me to no ends was a “micro-burst” (that’s what local “officials” call it when they want to spare insurance companies from tornado damage claims) last year DURING my mini-financial collapse and both ends of my two entrance road were closed off due to downed trees for multiple days (and no electricity). Plan as if you won’t have electricity for many weeks (months?) and learn how to start fires. This may sound lame, but depending on where you live, join your local mushroom club; you can feed yourself quite well on them (I am learning quite a bit on top of literally making a salad out of what is growing naturally all around my property). —BE CAREFUL with mushrooms, VERY careful.
