Yes, she would lose, at least according to the polls. She was the most popular governor in the nation at the time she was chosen to be McCain’s running mate - at the end of the process, she was the least popular politician in Alaska. That is what the media can do to a person.

Palin does not have to win the votes of committed conservatives.

But those conservatives are not a majority of the nation, nor even of the GOP.

What she has to do is win over a whole lot of those middle of the road, MSM-numbed voters who have confused her with Tina Fay.

And although I have been accused of PDS in the past, I sincerely wish her all the best in doing so.
