NORWALK, Conn.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--
During a routine test of our back-up systems Saturday morning, Xerox’s Electronic Benefits Transfer (EBT) system experienced a temporary shutdown. While the system is now up and running, beneficiaries in the 17 affected states continue to experience connectivity issues to access their benefits. This disruption impacts EBT beneficiaries who rely on the system for SNAP and WIC. Technical staff is addressing the issue and expect the system to be restored soon.

You know what is odd, they usually do these types of things upgrades, backups etc after midnight.
Correct. This is a cover story for something. Saturday morning would be the last time in the world I’d do any kind of diagnostics or upgrades.

Since I can't EVER remember anything like this happening before, I struggle in believing this was a "routine" test.
Given the purpose of the system that was being tested why wouldn't that have been done at 3am instead of a Saturday morning when use of the system would be quite high?
I have a deep fear that this so called “glitch” is going to carry over into the coming week.
And then some commie pig associated with the admin will SUGGEST that it isn’t getting fixed because THE PUBBIES SHUT DOWN THE GOBMINT! and it just CAN’T get fixed till the GOBMINT is open for BIDNISS again.
Now, you have a real problem when Holder’s People don’t get their handouts on time.
