Trying to post using an antique laptop, and the relearning curve is steep, lol. It only has a dial up modem, so it has sat in the closet for ages. Then, when I was talking with a tech guy today at a little computer shop, he said "For 20 or 30 bucks you can get a USB WiFi adapter, plug it in a USB port, and rock and roll on your existing home WiFi connection.
Duh! I didn't even know such a thing existed. Picked one up at Office Max, and voila! Instead of 32Kbps, I'm moving at about 40Mbps. Still slow by todays standards, but blazingly fast compared to the old dial up modem. This old fart is constantly amazed at the way technology is passing me by. LOL
