I think her point was that we were bringing Western Civilization to it's knees by selling private insurance.

I remember her wearing an eyepatch and thought she had had an injury, but I read that she had a basal cell carcinoma removed from her forehead and it caused the swelling.
Makes me feel a bit bad to make fun of her, but these people are so corrupt that it’s hard to really care.

Ok. I fgured this was taken out of context so I looked at the video in question, thnking maybe she was alluding to what they (the gov’t/her/’bummer) were being accused of.
STart listening just before minute marker 3:00
Didn’t hear anything but that she did indeed say it - Freudean slip? Like Maxine Waters, a few years ago, did about the gov’t going to take over companies - like Sheila Jackson Lee did a few days ago with her very odd statement about being able to use Martial Law to pass a bill in the Senate?

>There is no reason on earth to put together those monster exchanges that, yes, good ol Mitt Romney pioneered, unless youre planning to roll over to a fully nationalized system as soon as you can get away with it.<
Stewart unabashedly leads the cheering audience in pushing for a fully nationalized system, despite the solid evidence this government cannot even get the current website to function. Now, I realize that Stewart's audience is made up of committed liberals, but the lack of critical thought is appalling, not to mention frightening.

That’s how liberalism always works: their programs don’t work, which to them is proof that we just need more, bigger programs to the trick.
